3. What these terms cover

These terms explain how we supply products to you, how orders are placed and accepted, how delivery works, and what happens if there is a problem.

By using this website or placing an order with us, you agree to these terms.

4. Our products

We supply UK-made, made-to-measure aluminium gates and related products.

Because many of our products are made to order, the final item may vary slightly from website images, drawings, samples, or marketing materials. This may include reasonable variations in:

  • finish
  • colour tone
  • dimensions within normal manufacturing tolerances
  • design detail
  • hardware positioning

We aim to describe all products as accurately as possible. If you need confirmation on any specification before ordering, please contact us.

5. Product information and imagery

Product images, drawings, and diagrams are for illustration only.

We make every effort to show products clearly and accurately. However:

  • screen settings may affect how colours appear
  • made-to-measure items may differ from standard visuals
  • some images may show optional extras not included as standard

Please check the product description, specification, and order confirmation carefully.

6. Measuring and customer responsibility

Accurate measuring is essential for made-to-measure gates.

Unless we have agreed in writing to carry out a site survey or take measurements on your behalf, you are responsible for providing correct measurements and site information.

This includes, where relevant:

  • opening width
  • post-to-post width
  • finished ground levels
  • hinge and latch side positions
  • clearance requirements
  • gate opening direction
  • surface levels and falls
  • fixing suitability
  • access for delivery and installation

If incorrect measurements or site details are provided, the product may not fit or function as intended. In this case, we may not be able to offer a refund, replacement, or free alteration.

We recommend checking all measurements carefully before placing an order.

7. Quotes and estimates

Any quote we provide is valid for 14 days unless stated otherwise.

Quotes are based on the details supplied at the time. If measurements, design, specification, finish, hardware, or delivery requirements change, the quote may also change.

A quote does not form a binding contract until we accept your order.

8. How to place an order

Orders can be placed through our website, by email, by phone, or through an agreed quotation process.

When placing an order, you must check that all details are correct, including:

  • sizes
  • design
  • colour
  • opening configuration
  • hardware options
  • delivery details
  • contact information

We will usually send an order confirmation. Please review it carefully and tell us immediately if anything is incorrect.

9. Order acceptance

Your order is only accepted when we confirm it in writing.

We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order before production starts, for example if:

  • product information is incorrect
  • pricing contains an obvious error
  • specifications are incomplete
  • payment is not received
  • delivery is not possible
  • the order falls outside our supply or manufacturing limits

If we cannot accept your order, we will tell you and refund any payment due.

10. Made-to-measure and bespoke orders

Most of our gates are made to measure.

Once a made-to-measure or bespoke order has been approved for manufacture, changes may not be possible. If changes are possible, they may result in:

  • additional charges
  • production delays
  • revised delivery dates

Please check all details carefully before approving production.

Because made-to-measure products are manufactured specifically for your order, cancellation and return rights may be limited. See the cancellation and returns sections below.

11. Prices

All prices shown on the website are in GBP (£) and include VAT unless stated otherwise.

Prices may change at any time, but this will not affect an order that has already been accepted.

The total price payable will be confirmed before your order is finalised and may include, where applicable:

  • product cost
  • delivery charges
  • optional extras
  • installation charges
  • any agreed surcharges for remote delivery or special access

12. Payment

Payment terms are as follows:

Standard payment terms:
100% on order

Custom payment terms:
We may offer custom payment terms (for example, a deposit, if a large order is placed).

We accept the following payment methods:
BACS – Card Payments (some restrictions apply)

If payment is overdue, we may delay manufacture, withhold dispatch, or cancel the order.

Products remain our property until full payment has been received in cleared funds.

13. Lead times and manufacture

Lead times are estimated and begin from the later of:

  • order acceptance
  • receipt of cleared payment or deposit
  • final approval of measurements and specification
  • receipt of any required technical details

We aim to meet all estimated lead times, but delays can sometimes happen due to:

  • supplier issues
  • material shortages
  • transport disruption
  • seasonal demand
  • technical queries
  • events outside our reasonable control

If there is a significant delay, we will let you know.

14. Delivery

We offer delivery across the UK. Delivery areas, charges, and lead times may vary.

Delivery information should be checked carefully at the time of order. You are responsible for ensuring that:

  • the delivery address is correct
  • access is suitable for the delivery vehicle
  • someone is available to receive the order where required
  • the unloading area is safe and accessible

If re-delivery is required due to failed access, missed delivery, or incorrect delivery details, additional charges may apply.

Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.

15. Delivery inspections and damaged items

You should inspect goods as soon as possible after delivery.

If any item is damaged, incomplete, or incorrect, please notify us within 12 hours of delivery.

The quicker you report an issue, the easier it will be to make a claim/be compesated if using a third party delivery service.

Please make sure to acknoledge any damage before accepting delivery (IE sign paperwork DAMAGED) + take lots of photographs and evidence.

Where possible, please provide:

  • your order number
  • clear photos of the issue
  • a brief description of the problem
  • details shown on the packaging or labels if relevant

Do not install any product that appears damaged or incorrect without speaking to us first.

16. Storage and handling after delivery

Once delivered, products should be stored safely and appropriately until installation.

This includes keeping items:

  • dry
  • secure
  • protected from impact or scratching
  • off bare ground where appropriate
  • in line with any care or handling instructions supplied

We are not responsible for damage caused after delivery by incorrect handling, storage, misuse, or site conditions.

17. Installation

Supply only:
Unless agreed otherwise in writing, products are supplied for installation by others. It is the installer’s responsibility to check suitability before installation.

Supply and installation:
Where we have agreed to install products, the site must be ready, safe, and accessible on the agreed date. Additional charges may apply if installation is delayed or disrupted due to site conditions, restricted access, or incomplete preparatory works.

In all cases, gates should be installed in line with our instructions and good trade practice.

18. Cancellations and order changes

If you need to change or cancel an order, contact us as soon as possible.

For standard, non-bespoke items, cancellation may be possible before manufacture, subject to any reasonable costs already incurred.

For made-to-measure or bespoke products, cancellation rights may be restricted once manufacture has started or materials have been allocated. In these cases, we may retain all or part of any payment made to cover design, material, manufacturing, and administrative costs.

Any order change must be agreed by us in writing.

19. Returns

Because many of our products are made to measure, returns are not typically accepted unless:

  • the item is faulty
  • the item is damaged in transit
  • we have supplied the wrong product
  • we have agreed a return in writing

If a return is authorised, items must be returned in unused condition and in line with our instructions.

Unauthorised returns may be refused.

20. Faults and warranty

We take build quality seriously and aim to supply durable, low-maintenance products made for long-term use.

If you believe a product is faulty, please contact us with full details. We may ask for photos, measurements, installation details, and other information to help assess the issue.

Warranty period: Varies based on product – refer to individual products for data or contact us.
Warranty covers: Manufacturing defects
Warranty does not cover:

  • fair wear and tear
  • accidental damage
  • incorrect measuring
  • incorrect installation
  • misuse or neglect
  • failure to follow care instructions
  • normal weathering or environmental exposure
  • damage caused by third-party modifications or site movement

This warranty is in addition to your statutory rights.

21. Finishes, coatings, and maintenance

Our aluminium gates are designed to offer long-term durability with low maintenance.

To keep products in good condition, you should follow any care guidance we provide. This may include routine cleaning, checking hardware, and avoiding harsh chemicals or abrasive methods.

Finish performance may be affected by environmental conditions, especially in coastal, exposed, industrial, or high-pollution areas.

Normal maintenance remains the owner’s responsibility.

22. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or defective products where legal responsibility applies.

Subject to that, our liability will be limited to the value of the goods supplied under the relevant order.

We will not be liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit, loss of business, loss of opportunity, or delay costs, except where the law says otherwise.

23. Events outside our control

We are not responsible for delays or failure to perform our obligations where this is caused by events outside our reasonable control.

This may include:

  • severe weather
  • transport disruption
  • industrial disputes
  • supply chain failure
  • fire
  • flood
  • power failure
  • government restrictions

If this happens, we will aim to keep you informed and resume performance as soon as reasonably possible.
